    The building presents as anything but a typical office tower

    North Sydney

    Tactical Group are privileged to be working with long-term client Pro-Invest Group as Project Manager for the redevelopment of 100 Walker Street, North Sydney.

    This new 48-storey (above Ground Level) commercial tower will be an "anti-office" skyscraper aimed at reviving the commercial market in a post-Covid working environment. It caters to tenants who wish to foster stronger connections between their teams and workplace.

    With the North Sydney CBD undergoing a period of unprecedented transformation, 100 Walker will provide approximately 37,000m2 of commercial space spread across 44 levels, three levels of high-end retail areas including an underground wine bar, six levels of basements, and a heavily activated ground plane and cultural laneway connecting Walker Street to North Sydney's new Victoria Cross Sydney Metro that is due to open in 2024.

    As workplaces continue to compete with working from home, the building will also include communal spaces, shared amenities, lounges and outdoor terraces curated specifically for the needs of its occupants as they embrace more flexible work styles and settings, both now and into the future.

    Designed by Bates Smart, the building presents as anything but a typical office tower, whilst prioritising its strong sense of community and aiming to take property digitisation and sustainability to new heights. It's no surprise that the project recently received a Stage 2 Development Approval within a record-breaking turnaround of 6 months.

    Located in the CBD's most sought-after precinct and challenged with site constraints, planning change and economic imperatives, the project requires a high degree of strategic input, design leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement.

    Tactical is proud to be leading the charge with Pro-Invest and an exemplary consultant team on this landmark development.

    Our team, led by Nick Dillon (Project Director) and Richard Campbell (joint Managing Director) as Project Managers for the design and delivery of the development, bring a balanced perspective and a strong understanding of the critical project interdependencies.
