    The Holiday Inn Express Queenstown was the first of the brand to be delivered as part of the roll-out in New Zealand.

    Tactical Group partnered with Pro-Invest Group to oversee the expansion of the Holiday Inn Express hotels brand across Australia and New Zealand, operating under a master franchise agreement. Holiday Inn Express was one of the fastest growing brands in the world with over 2,250 hotels operating worldwide and an average of two new hotels opening every week.

    Serving as Development Managers, Project Managers, and Lead Consultant on the project, Tactical Group facilitated the successful execution of a new 227-room hotel in Queenstown, a premier leisure destination in New Zealand.

    This exciting roll-out project was one-of-a-kind in New Zealand, with the Queenstown hotel acting as the debut of the Holiday Inn Express brand in New Zealand.

    Tactical Group provided a full-service solution encompassing:

    • site acquisition
    • pre-purchase due diligence
    • feasibility modelling
    • transaction management
    • project management
    • full design and superintendence
    • hand-over for operations

    The Holiday Inn Express Queenstowny opened in April 2019 and is trading extremely well.
